While directing a series of commercials for Ogilvy & Mather advertising, I travelled to Vollendam out side of Amsterdam where I encountered this Dutchman in wooden shoes and all just kicking back. In those days you could still find many locals wearing the customary wooden shoes. I have no idea about his hat.

Picture of the Week #27 "Kicking Back in Vollendam" Vollendam, Holland 1966 Signed and Stamped.
