Picture of the week #422 "Wino Willie" Venice California & Santa Ynez, California 2010 Signed & Stamped

I ran into this character on the walkway in Venice where all of the colorful characters hang out. I photoshopped him in to the wine fields of Santa Ynez. I'm not exactly sure of the year when I took these images, but my guess is about 6 years ago. I have been back many times to Venice but have not seen him there since I took this picture. Perhaps he's in Cabernet Heaven. Or just sobered up and moved on.

Picture of the Week #421 'Standing on the Corner" Beverly Hills, California 2016 Signed & Stamped

Waiting to cross the street after lunch with a friend, I noticed this guy waiting for the light to change. I immediately whipped out my little camera and click. One shot and I got him. I had only noticed his pant leg was up and it wasn't until I got home and put the image in my computer that I noticed his hand all crunched up. I don't know if he had a deformity or was just curling his fingers. He was also very fashionable and I started to make up all kinds of scenarios for who he was. But I doubt I'll see him again so it would all only be conjecture.

Picture of the Week #420 "Kish Mir en Tuchas" Los Angeles, California 2016 Signed & Stamped

Coming out of the Art Fair downtown at the LA Mart earlier in the year I happened on this car sitting in the parking lot. As I am working on a series of "Pictures That Make You Smile", this just leaped out at me. I put the title "Kish Mir en Tuchas"on the license plate as I didn't want to show the real plate. I posted this earlier on FaceBook and received a slew of compliments. One friend, a prominent art dealer suggested I make a large print of it and sell it. I try to sell all my images, some sell some don't. I wish I knew which were the ones that would sell, then I'd be very rich.

Picture of the Week #419 "Quintessential Beverly Hills", Beverly Hills, California 2016 Signed & Stamped

Walking through Beverly Hills which I do about three times a week, I happened to see all these extremely expensive and colorful cars lined up by the valet. With the sun light casting a perfect shadow along the ground and the color of the cars across the street, it was a natural for me to record this image. I didn't wait around to see who was driving which car as I wanted to keep my cardio up so I quickly moved on.
