Picture of the Week #292 "Pont Alexander at Night" Paris, France 1989 Signed & Stamped

It doesn't get more iconic than this. I have no idea how many times I have crossed this famous bridge and saw the Eiffel Tower gleaming off in the distance that I don't stop and marvel. Soon after I took this picture I painted it.  It was scooped up by my old friend and composer Billy Goldenberg. It hangs proudly in his apartment in New York. There is something terribly romantic about this picture and I do not know why. There is also something tragic. I feel that something happened or is going to happen here and I can't predict what or why. C'est la vie.
